Account

The account application contains all of the relevant information for your account. Here you will be able to view and or edit your account's general information (including your account's wallet balance), view and or edit the profiles linked to your account, payments, as well as recharge transactions.

Note: If your account is not in good standing, it may be deactivated. If your account is deactivated, you will not be able to perform any recharge transactions.


Account General

The general area displays all of your account's general information. Here you can view and or edit the current values of the following fields; Account Name, Account Code, Account Wallet Balance and Account Notes.

Note: Your account wallet balance is the available funds of your account. If you have depleted all of the available funds in your account's wallet, you will not be able to perform any recharge transactions. You will first need to add (top-up) additional funds in to your account's wallet, before you can perform any recharge transactions.


Account Profiles

The profiles screen displays all of your account's profile information. Profiles are users or "logins" associated to your account. Here you can view and or edit the current values of the following fields; First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Mobile Number and Profile Notes. You will also be able to change your login password for the Click & Connect | Recharge Platform here. If a profile's status is "Inactive", it will not be able to make use of the Click & Connect | Recharge Platform.

If you would like to have more profiles linked to your account, contact us with the minimum required information ready i.e.: the values for the following fields; First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Mobile Number of the person you would like to add.

Note: As an added system-wide security feature, you will receive an email notification each time you login to the Click & Connect | Recharge Platform.


Account Payments

The payments screen displays all of your account's payment information and history. Payments are credits made into your account's wallet. The available funds in your account's wallet is used to make recharge transactions. If there are no funds available in your account's wallet, you will not be able to perform any recharge transactions.

If you would like to replenish the available funds in your account's wallet, simply add (top-up) additional funds into your account's wallet. Subsequently, after each successful recharge transaction, your account's wallet will be debited accordingly.

The only method currently available for adding funds into your account's wallet is as follows:

  1. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT):
    • For EFT payments; please deposit funds into the following bank account using your account number as the payment reference:

      Nedbank
      Account Number: 1286095883
      Branch Code: 128605
      Reference Number: your account code e.g.: "ACC-0000001"

      Once you have made the EFT payment, please email the payment confirmation to: payments@clickandconnect.co.za.

Note: As an added system-wide security feature, you may only add (top-up) additional funds into your account's wallet, once per day. Payments can take up to 48 hours to reflect in your account's wallet.


Account Transactions

The transactions screen displays all of your account's recharge transaction information and history. Transactions are debits i.e.: recharges, made out of your account's wallet. Every time you make a recharge transaction, the available funds in your account's wallet is used to make that recharge transactions.

If there are no funds available in your account's wallet, you will not be able to perform any recharge transactions. You will first need to make a payment of additional funds into your account's wallet.

Note: As an added system-wide security feature, you will receive an email notification of each transaction that you make on the Click & Connect | Recharge Platform.




Address Book

The address book application contains your account's address book and all of the relevant information related to your contacts and or groups of contacts. Here you will be able to view all of your contacts and groups and their associated information.


Address Book Contacts

The contacts screen displays all of your account's address book contact information. Contacts can either be of a type "person" or a "device". You can make a recharge transaction for a specific contact in your address book. If a contact's status is "Inactive", it will not be able to make use of the Click & Connect | Recharge Platform.

Note: When adding a contact, or while performing a recharge transaction, you will need to specify the respective mobile number to use. Mobile numbers need to be in one the following accepted formats;

  • The digits: "06" followed by one of the following digits: "0", "1" or "2"; followed by seven more digits, totalling ten digits.
  • The digits: "07" followed by one of the following digits: "1", "2", "3", "4", "6", "8" or "9"; followed by seven more digits, totalling ten digits.
  • The digits: "08" followed by one of the following digits: "1", "2", "3", "4" or "5"; followed by seven more digits, totalling ten digits.

Address Book Groups

The groups screen displays all of your account's address book group information. Groups are a collection of contacts. You can make a recharge transaction for a specific group in your address book. If a group's status is "Inactive", it will not be able to make use of the Click & Connect | Recharge Platform.

Note: Due to the technical nature of group recharges, groups can only contain a maximum of up to 25 contacts at any given time.




Merchandise

The merchandise application contains all of the relevant information related to the providers and products, which are available for you to purchase on the Click & Connect | Recharge Platform. Here you will be able to view all of the providers and their associated product's information.

The providers screen displays all of the available provider information. If a provider's status is "Inactive", it will not be able to make use of the Click & Connect | Recharge Platform.

Recharge

The recharge application is where all of the recharge transactions take place. Here you will be able to perform the actual recharge transaction. Each recharge transaction consists of only 4 easy steps to complete.

There are two types of recharge methods i.e.: Direct and Pinned.

Recharge Methods
Method Description
Direct The recharge token or voucher will be sent directly to the mobile number specified during the recharge process.
Pinned (Voucher) The recharge token or voucher will not be sent directly to the mobile number specified during the recharge process. Instead, it will be stored as a voucher for display where you can make use of it; but you will have to manually recharge your mobile device.
Total Recharge Methods: 2

For pinned (voucher) recharge tokens or vouchers, each provider offers numerous ways to top-up or recharge your mobile device.

Please refer to the respective provider's website for information on how to do this.

Note: The Click & Connect | Recharge Platform is primarily intended to service pre-paid customers. For additional information regarding the individual terms and conditions of pre-paid airtime and data-bundle "top-ups" from the various providers, please refer to their respective websites.


Recharge Step 1 - Provider

In the first step of the recharge transaction, you have to select the respective merchandise provider.


Recharge Step 2 - Product

In the second step of the recharge transaction, you have to select the respective provider's product, based on your previous step, step 1 of the recharge transaction process.


Recharge Step 3 - Recharge

In the third and final step of the recharge transaction, you have to capture the mobile number to recharge as well as a user-friendly description of the recharge transaction (used for record keeping purposes), based on your previous steps, step 1 and step 2 respectively of the recharge transaction process.

Note: If you have selected to recharge an address book contact or group, you will only have to capture a user-friendly description of the recharge transaction (used for record keeping purposes).




Mobile Numbers

Whenever you are entering a mobile number, ensure that it is in one the following accepted formats;

  • The digits: "06" followed by eight more digits, totalling ten digits.
  • The digits: "07" followed by eight more digits, totalling ten digits.
  • The digits: "08" followed by eight more digits, totalling ten digits.



Reports

The report screen displays all of your account's reporting information. Here you can view and extract various reports pertaining to your account. Reports will be downloaded in a Microsoft Excel (*.xlsx) file or format for your convenience.

For a breakdown of historical payments and or transactions made on previous versions of the Click & Connect | Recharge Platform, please contact us.

At various areas throughout the Click & Connect | Recharge Platform you will have the option to perform various "actions". For example, to quickly search for what you are looking for. In order to narrow-down your search results, capture as much information as possible.

Note: When entering search criteria, a minimum of at least 2 characters is expected to be captured, in order to perform the search accordingly.
